Meet Our Staff
Drs. Bryant and Kelley Phillips
Drs. Bryant and Kelley Phillips are both graduates of Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bryant grew up in Simpsonville, SC where he enjoyed showing horses and playing basketball. He has fond childhood memories of assisting his father, Dr. Ben Phillips, which led him to complete a B.S. in Biology at Furman University. Dr. Kelley grew up on a cattle farm in Disputanta, Virginia where she enjoyed riding horses and playing soccer. She began pursuing her childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian with a B.S. in Animal and Dairy Science at Auburn. They both credit their parents for encouragement and support that culminated in their success as veterinarians. Together their mission is to daily share the love of Jesus Christ by serving people and helping their pets.
Drs. Will and Jennifer McDavid
Drs. Will and Jennifer McDavid were both born and raised in Greenville but met each other and got married while working together at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital of Travelers Rest. Dr. Jennifer graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, while Dr. Will graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. That makes things a little interesting around the television in their house on Saturdays during the fall! Dr. Will got his DVM at Mississippi State University, and Dr. Jen got hers at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. Before coming back home to Greenville, Dr. Jen spent two years practicing in a mixed animal practice in Switzerland, where she learned to speak Swiss German. Dr. Will loves to hunt and fish in his spare time (when he is not working in the yard). Dr. Jen enjoys tagging along on those trips as well as hiking, horseback riding, reading, and crocheting. They also enjoy spending time together with friends and family as often as possible. Their favorite part of working at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital is the kind-spirited family atmosphere that is fostered between the staff, clients, and patients.
Dr. Jennifer Given
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jennifer Given to our Travelers Rest team! Dr. Given received her B.S. in Biology at the College of Charleston, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Along with her husband Sam and adorable fur babies, she resides in Travelers Rest and enjoys exploring the foothills of our beautiful community.
Shannon Bowen was born and raised in Travelers Rest. She began working with animals more than 20 years ago at the Greenville Humane Society as an adoptions specialist. After leaving there she found work in animal hospitals around the Greenville area as well as working at an area blood banking center where she enjoyed the direct impact that her work had on lives in the community. She joined Cleveland Park in June 2017 and is so happy to be working in the same town that she lives and grew up in. In November 2017, Shannon accepted the human resource position within the hospital, managing our wonderful staff in addition to her exceptional receptionist duties.
Shannon is currently pursuing her Bachelors degree at Limestone University studying Business and Social Work. She and her husband, Brian enjoy spending time on the lake or in the woods with their dog, Miss Kitty. They also have 4 cats that are extremely spoiled.
Client Care Specialist
Sara Tate is a native of Florida. At 14, she got a job with a veterinary clinic working in the kennels and worked her way up to a veterinary technician. During her 24 years of experience she has worked in emergency care as well as general practice veterinary clinics. She moved to SC in 1998 with her husband and continued to work as a veterinary technician in the Greer area. She started at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital in the summer of 2005. Her love for animal care, the community and it’s people keep her doing what she loves. She lives in the beautiful Blue Ridge area with her husband Matt and three sons. Currently, she has three dogs, three cats, goldfish and one koi. (subject to change!) She now specializes in Customer Care and is always happy to help with her gorgeous smile :)
Tristan Harvey began working at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital in the summer of 2008. She started her career at Cleveland Park as a kennel technician but when a position as a receptionist opened in 2011 she readily accepted it. She has been one of the smiling faces at the reception desk ever since. She loves her work as a receptionist because she is able to meet and help the owners of all our wonderful patients. She has lived in Travelers Rest since 2000 with her husband, Travis. When Tristan is not checking patients in for their appointments, she enjoys taking her son Easton to the park. She also enjoys hiking, boating, going to classic car shows and spending time with family and friends.
Ashley Bostian and her husband are natives to the Travelers Rest area. She says she couldn’t imagine a better place to live. Ashley was home schooled and graduated in 2010. She then attended Greenville Technical College where she obtained certification in Medical Coding and Billing. God soon led Ashley in another direction. She realized her passion was caring for animals. Ashley has been a part of Cleveland Park Animal Hospital since November of 2011. She is a valued member of our reception staff. She enjoys making sure all clients and pets get the best of care while visiting Cleveland Park. In her free time, Ashley enjoys staying active by hiking Table Rock State Park or walking the Swamp Rabbit Trail with her 5 dogs Colt, Bandit, Tyson, Ruby and Baron (Baron is a certified therapy dog for the public with Alliance Of Therapy Dog's). Ashley also enjoys spending time with her family
Lauren Mauldin was born and raised in Travelers Rest, SC. She graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 2015 and pursued a passion in animal studies. Lauren became a member of our team February 2017 and began work as a Kennel Technician, shortly after she then moved to Reception where she plans to stay until becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is currently enrolled at Greenville Technical College in the Veterinary Technology program and looks forward to advancing in her career with animals of all shapes and sizes. She and her husband, Blake enjoy spending time with their 2 rescue dogs, Scout and Fifi and their 2 daughters, Arabella and Karline. Lauren loves having the opportunity to see and care for so many different breeds and species of animals and she looks forward to many years with us here at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital.
Sam joined the Cleveland Park of Travelers Rest team in July 2016. Having always loved large animals she spent most of her time during her college career at the dairy farm and horse farm of Clemson University. She graduated Clemson University in May 2014 with a degree in Animal Agribusiness. She is a lifelong resident of the upstate, and after finishing college, she moved back to Greenville where she worked as a receptionist and kennel/veterinary assistant at another animal hospital. She and her husband, Ethan, have 3 dogs - Remy, Tripp, and Summer - and 2 cats - Addie and Charlotte. They enjoy hiking with their dogs, spending time with family and friends, and being on the lake.
Carrie was born and raised in Berea SC. She graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 2006 and received her Veterinary Assistant certification from Greenville Tech in April 2007 which is also when she began working at Cleveland Park. In 2012 she went back to school and graduated from Greenville technnical College as a surgical assistant in 2014. After graduation she took a position with Patewood outpatient surgical center and also maintained a part time position here as a receptionist. She returned to Cleveland Park in October of 2015 and plans to stay here forever.
She lives in Travelers Rest with her husband Bobby and their daughter Mackenzie and son Griffin. They are active members at Renfrew Baptist church where they work with youth. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Ashton was born in Greenville, SC and grew up in Travelers Rest where she currently lives. Before starting her journey in the veterinary field she and her husband were stationed in Fort Drum, NY for four years while her husband was active duty in the Army. Leaving NY to get closer to family they were then stationed at Fort Benning, GA for another four years. Seven years ago Ashton decided to start working in the Veterinary field getting her certificate in veterinary assistance and dog obedience training; she started her journey with Cleveland Park Animal Hospital in 2017. While she loves the veterinary field Ashton decided to go back to school late 2016. She is currently enrolled at Limestone College as a sophomore going for her Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management. She is looking forward to graduating in early 2020. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, Grayson, husband Jonathan, friends, and family. She also has two senior dogs Kujo and Pepper.
Heather Ashley was born and raised in Greenville SC. She joined our team in 2017 as a receptionist. She graduated from Greenville Technical College in 2008 with her certification in Veternarian Assisting. She has two fur babies, Emma and Watson. In her free time she enjoys attending Clemson games with her husband and playing baseball at the park with her kids.
Managing Veterinary Technician
Heather Nix was raised in Travelers Rest and graduated from Greenville Tech in 2005 with 2 degrees- one in Small Animal Care and the other in Veterinary Technology. She has been a veterinary technician for 13 years, and started at Cleveland Park in March of 2013. She is a huge hound lover, and enjoys giving extra kisses to any four legged creature with long, floppy ears! She feels incredibly blessed that God has allowed her the opportunity to work in such a wonderful career field. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, including her 8 four legged “children”- Tilly, Griffin, Clark, Ajax, Pax, Stella, Franklin, and Beatrice. Heather is also big on pet nutrition, and has toured the Hill’s Pet Food facility in Topeka Kansas, so feel free to ask her about Science Diet and the research that goes into their pet food...and all the cute beagles that reside there!
Veterinary Technician, LVT
Kayla Pope came to Cleveland Park Animal Hospital after finishing her externship here in 2009. She graduated from Tri-County Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with a Major in Veterinary Technology. She became a licensed technician shortly after her arrival and enjoys working on both large and small animals. Kayla married her husband Anthony in May of 2012 and they now live in Berea. Together they have 8 cats ( Alley, Penny, Bruce, Wonkie, Sunny, Franky, Nutmeg & Pita), and a gecko named Dude. Her joys in life are promoting animal rescue & adoption, researching pet nutrition, working on their Mustangs, going to car shows, and spending time with her family and friends (4-legged ones included!).
Veterinary Technician, LVT
Marisa Lorenzoni was born in upstate New York, but moved to South Carolina when she was 8 years old. She was surprised by the variety of cultural differences, but she realized that she loved the south! As a child, she had a passion for animals and wanted to strive towards a career in which she could explore that passion. In 2012 she joined the Cleveland Park Animal Hospital family as a kennel technician. In 2014, her hard work and determination allowed her to graduate from Tri-County Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science with a Major in Veterinary Technology. She passed her boards in 2015 and became a full time LVT for the practice. She enjoys finding forever homes for other animals as well. Away from work she enjoys hiking and spending time with her dog, Buzz and fiance, Cameron. Family is also a big part of her life!

Kendall was born and raised in the Greer area of the upstate. She attended Tri-County Technical college and earned her associates degree in Veterinary Technolgy in May of 2016. She first came to Cleveland Park Animal Hospital to complete her internship and we were happy to offer a position to stay as an LVT. Outside of work she has a horse named Daisy that she enjoys trail riding. She also has a Chocolate Lab named Bentley, a potbelly pig named Porky and a Chihuahua named Rooney that she enjoys spending time with. .
Veterinary Technician, LVT
Sarah Pressley was born and raised in the upstate of South Carolina. She spent her childhood outdoors with a variety of farm animals including horses, goats, ducks, cows and chickens. As she got older, she began to develop an interest in Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from Pickens High School in 2010, she attended Tri-County Technincal College's Veterinary Technology program. She graduated in 2014 from college with an Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology. Her first job as a technician was in her hometown of Pickens where she worked 2 years in a small animal practice. While there she passed both State and National boards and is now a licensed veterinary technician as well as gaining essential experience in a veterinary hospital. Sarah joined Cleveland Park TR in March of 2016 where she hopes to further her knowledge and experience with both small and large animals. In her downtime, she spends a lot of time in the woods talking with God and enjoying his creations. She loves fishing, hunting, hiking, and camping when she has the time. She and her husband of 4 years live off the beaten path in the Table Rock area with their 4 dogs, Pup, Ruger, and Kimba.

Nicole Southerlin started with us in May of 2017. She is a native of Greenville and plans on staying here. After graduating high school, she decided to attend technician assistant school, but that was not enough for her so she decided to get her license as a Veterinary Technician, LVT. She earned her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology in 2017. We love having Nicole around. She is a great technician with a very loving personality. Her hobbies include fishing, hiking and attending car shows with her fiancé Adam. She has many fur babies, Piper, Peaches, Ginger and No No. They are her loves!
Veterinary Technician , LVT
Emily Raines has worked for Cleveland Park Animal Hospital since 2007. She and her family moved here from Washington state and planted their roots here in South Carolina. She has worked as a veterinary technician for 16 years and obtained her Veterinary Technician license in 2010. Assisting in surgery of any kind is her favorite responsibility as a veterinary technician. When she is away from work she enjoys outdoor activities with her husband, Jason and daughter, Prestin. She also enjoys competing in triathlons, marathons and riding her dirt bike. They have two dogs, Butters and Trucker, and one cat, Mr. Cupcake Meatball.
Veterinary Technician, LVT
Lucas Eades joined the CPAHTR team in February of 2016. Before joining our team, Lucas worked as a veterinary technician in Seneca for about a year. Lucas graduated from the veterinary technician program at Tri-County Tech in May of 2017 and became licensed shorty thereafter. Being a lifelong resident of Pickens South Carolina, Lucas has gained much experience with caring for animals such as chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and horses. Lucas is a member of Gap Hill Church of God where he enjoys serving the church as worship leader for the youth and college group as well as singing in the choir. Besides serving God in everyday life, Lucas loves spending time with family, friends and his pets.
Heather Clemente grew up off the beaches of South Florida, but eventually moved to South Carolina with her family in search of a slightly cooler climate, and beautiful changing seasons. Heather is currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science and has continued to work full-time as a Veterinary technician at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital since graduating Travelers Rest High School in 2011. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Nil and Ety. Nil is a registered therapy dog who volunteers at local elementary schools and assisted living facilities. Ety also has extensive training as a multi-purpose working dog.

Shauna Warlick joined the team at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital of Travelers Rest in 2018. She has been in the field for several years and is also attending Tri-County Technical College. She will soon recieve her associate degree in applied science with a major in veterinary technology. Shauna grew up in the upstate and now raises her 3 children in the area. They enjoy going camping, hunting, and fishing together. Shauna has always been an animal lover and has dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and reptiles in her home. She feels blessed to be a part of a Cleveland Park and has plans of staying with them long term.

Ashley, better known as Ash, joined the Cleveland Park Team May of 2017. Growing up in Newberry, Ash fell in love with the Travelers Rest area and decided to move here in 2014. As a small child she realized her love for animals and realized animal medicine was her calling. After graduating the assistant program from Greenville Tech, Ash decided it was not enough. She is currently taking classes to become a LVT. She currently has one dog named Missy, but like anyone else in the field she knows there are more pets to come. Ash welcomes every pet and person with a warming smile and is always happy to help in anyway she can!
Managing Kennel Technician
Amber grew up in the Travelers Rest area. She graduated from Blue Ridge High School in June 2012, then attended Greenville Technical College where she majored in Veterinary Assisting. She joined Cleveland Park Animal Hospital in October 2015 as a kennel technician where she excels in patient care and making our boarding animals feel at home. She has 2 dachsunds; Dora and Diego and a chocolate lab named Maggie.
David is a senior attending North Greenville University in pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Biology with an Animal Science focus. He joined Cleveland Park as a kennel/veterinary assistant in August 2016. He was born in Hawaii and moved to South Carolina 10 years ago. He has built a life and family here that he truly loves and enjoys. His goal after graduation from NGU is to be accepted into veterinary school and earn his DVM. He also aspires to come back after a few years of veterinary practice to be a professor at North Greenville University. He would love to help students achieve the same dreams he is working toward. He is very passionate to be able to give back to the college that has given so much to him!
Kassie Quinn joined the Cleveland Park Travelers Rest team in October 2016. She is an avid animal lover since early childhood. She is a lifelong resident of the Travelers Rest area. She graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 2016 and will be attending Greenville Technical College this Fall to pursue her degree in Veterinary Technology. She says that Cleveland Park welcomed her with warm hospitality and for that reason she plans to continue working here after finishing her degree. She has 5 dogs: Belle, Sadie, Tally, Kane and Duke and 2 cats: Ashes and Finn. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, pets and friends.
Hannah Redding is a native of Travelers Rest. She graduated in 2017 from Travelers Rest High School. She has an interest in furthering her education in the Veterinarian field. Her current pets are two German Sheperds named Jenna and George, four hens and a roaster. As with anyone working in this field, we are sure her furbaby number will increase in size.
Emily started with us in Sept. of 2018. She is from Cleveland Sc. and lives with her 9 fur babies (Hank, Stella, Furby, Snoopy, Gus, Izzy, Otis, Henry and Leroy), a horse (Belle) and 5 chickens. She enjoys being outside and spending time with her friends and animals. She graduated from Travelers Rest High School in June of 2017. She is currently attending North Greenville University to further her education. Emily also has two years of experience with American Sign Language. She is a joy to have.
My name is Ivy Jenkins and I attended Greenville Technical College for education and training as a professional pet groomer. I also completed my internship at Four Paws in Seneca, SC with the amazing Allison Hawk. Allison’s work has been featured in many magazines and she has earned first place in many pet-grooming competitions. It was an honor to study under and learn from one of the Best in this profession. I own 4 dogs, 1 cat, 1 rabbit, 5 guinea pigs and 1 snake. I enjoy using the very best shampoos to pamper any breed, big or small! My name is Nadya Granger and I am one of the Certified Professional Groomers who takes pride in caring for your fur babies while at Cleveland Park Animal Hospital of Travelers Rest. I started my grooming journey in August 2017 at Greenville Technical College. Animals have been a passion for my entire life and I’ve grown up caring for them. I have two dogs and two cats that I love and cherish every day. I look forward to caring for your pets, large or small!
